Lenawee County covers approximately 754 square miles in southeastern Lower Michigan, bordered by Hillsdale County to the west, Jackson County to the northwest, Washtenaw County to the north, Monroe County to the east, and Ohio to the south. The county's roughly 97,000 residents occupy 4 cities, 8 villages, and 22 townships, with Adrian serving as the county seat and largest city. County residents sit within a 10 to 30-mile drive of Ann Arbor, Jackson, and Toledo, Ohio — a geographic position that gives the area a mix of commuter-residential growth in the north and agricultural character in the south and east.
The River Raisin, which runs from western Lenawee County through Adrian and Tecumseh before reaching Monroe County and Lake Erie, has shaped the county's development since its earliest settlement in 1824. Communities along the river — Tecumseh, Adrian, Blissfield — each carry older housing stock and historic commercial districts that generate consistent renovation and cleanout demand.
Adrian has its own dedicated dumpster rental service page with full pricing, FAQ, and local service details. The rest of the county is served through this hub.

Beyond Adrian, three Lenawee County communities are worth naming specifically.
Tecumseh, the county's second city at 8,680 residents, sits 10 miles north of Adrian along the River Raisin. It was the original county seat of Lenawee, established in 1824 — the first permanent settlement in the county. Tecumseh's downtown on Chicago Boulevard is active, with locally owned businesses, the Tecumseh Center for the Arts, and the Kiwanis Trail connecting the city to Adrian. The city's housing stock is a mix of historic bungalows and early 20th-century homes near downtown and mid-century residential neighborhoods in the surrounding townships. Long Haul delivers to Tecumseh and Tecumseh Township addresses from Horton, approximately 35 minutes away. Same pricing as all Lenawee County addresses: 15-yard at $400, 25-yard at $500.
Blissfield is a village of about 3,300 on the River Raisin in the southwestern part of the county, near the Calhoun County border. The historic Blissfield Depot anchors a small commercial district and the river provides recreational access. Blissfield's housing is predominantly older residential stock. Dumpster rental demand here is driven by home renovation, estate cleanouts on older properties, and rural agricultural work in the surrounding Blissfield Township. Long Haul delivers to Blissfield from Horton in approximately 45 minutes.
Clinton is a village of roughly 2,300 in the central part of the county, north of Blissfield on US-12. It sits in the agricultural heart of Lenawee County, surrounded by farmland and rural residential properties. Clinton's housing stock is older, the community is small but active, and the surrounding Cambridge and Clinton Townships generate rural delivery demand. Call 517-960-9232 with your Clinton area address to confirm delivery timing.

Lenawee County is named from the Shawnee word for "man." The county was established in 1822 and organized in 1826. Its first permanent settlement was in Tecumseh, established in 1824 by settlers from Jefferson County, New York. Adrian became the county seat in 1838 after the legislature designated the smaller city as the governmental center, a position it has held for nearly two centuries.
The River Raisin runs through the northern part of the county east to west, connecting Tecumseh and Adrian before continuing through the eastern townships toward Lake Erie. The Battle of the River Raisin in 1813 — one of the deadliest conflicts of the War of 1812 for American forces — took place in Monroe County where the river meets Lake Erie, but the river's valley shaped the original settlement pattern of Lenawee County. Communities along its banks carry some of the county's oldest architecture.
The county's geographic position between Jackson, Ann Arbor, Toledo, and Detroit gives it a dual economic character. The northern townships — Cambridge, Rollin, Rome, and the Irish Hills corridor touching Columbia Township — attract residents who commute to larger metro areas while living in smaller-town settings. The southern and eastern townships are more agricultural, with larger parcels, farmsteads, and the quiet rural character that defines much of the Ohio border region of Michigan.
From the Long Haul base in Horton, Tecumseh is approximately 35 minutes and Adrian is 44 minutes. The eastern communities — Hudson, Morenci, Deerfield — are 50 to 60 minutes. Call 517-960-9232 for any address in Lenawee County.
